Back Country Gold Panning Tour This back country "Old West" adventure off-road tour, winds along the scenic "turquoise trail" and down into "the little grand canyon". Sunset Dinner Tour
Shortened version of the "Sindwinder Jeep Tour". After the sun sets, it is off to a close by rustic western-themed steak house (with a live band), or a quaint old west Ramada out in the desert for dinner (no band). Menu: 1 pound T-bone steak or mesquite grilled chicken dinner, baked potato, salad, bread, cowboy beans, iced tea (with refills), corn on the cob, pie, ice cream and coffee. Alcohol can be included which is extra.

In The Sky Prehistoric Indian Ruins Tour
The tour begins with a visit to the Sears Kay ruins, a prehistoric Ho Ho Kum Indian site that was first occupied about 1500ad. Upon arrival, an explanation will be given on these "peoples of the past", their culture and mysterious disappearance. A self-guided 1 mile loop trail will take you through the ruin site. You then head down Camp Creek Wash, an old Calvary trail, to the Verde River. Potato gun shooting, or Panning out semi-precious Garnet gemstones from our "Garnet Gulch Mining Claim" to take home, can also be included in the tour. Cost: $68 per person, $45 child Metate Canyon – A metate is a groove worn into flat rock surface by the actions of early American Indian's grinding nuts and grains between stones. Metate Canyon has numerous examples of these along the tops of cliffs at the edge of  a small canyon. This trip visits the site of some 600-800 year-old Indian ruins, as well as a long abandoned gold panner's cabin. This is an excellent trip if you're interested in a true adventure tour. Portions are very tight and brushy, and even though the truck travels very slowly, riders will want to keep a sharp lookout for "hostile" tree branches!  Length: 2-3 hours. Cost: $68 per person, $45 child Ash Creek to the Verde River – This trip travels down picturesque Ash Creek, a tributary to the East Verde River.  Ash Creek is a stream that flows through a small but rugged canyon, with an abundance of vegetation and fifty foot high cliffs on either side. Portions of the creek provide a year-round water source for wildlife, and the road makes several water crossings.  Ash Creek joins the East Verde River and it’s a much larger canyon about a mile downstream of the East Verde Estates Subdivision.  During the summer months, we can stop at the awesome pools of the East Verde River.  The swimming hole offers white boulders, waterfalls and deep, cool pools. This is a special place for the adventurous heart. Cost: $68 per person, $45 child The Young Trail - This trip is a favorite for folks who are interested in the history of the Young/Pleasant Valley area, and the site of the famed Graham-Tewksberry Feud (also known as the Pleasant Valley War),  which lasted from 1887 to 1892.The first part of the route follows an old access road to the top of the Mogollon Rim then will turn onto an old wagon road to the town of Young. The tour will include a stop at the Chapman Ranch. Frank Chapman has one of the largest collection of the firearms from the Pleasant Valley War. Then we will head to Alice’s Restaurant for lunch. This trip follows dirt and gravel roads, and does not require 4X4 travel, except maybe during bad weather.  It includes Pine forests, deep canyons, and big views. Length: 4-5 hours. Cost: $89 per person, $62 child Top of the Mogollon Rim Trail – This tour travels on the original wagon road up the Mogollon Rim in the late 1800's. Along this route you will stop at Colcord Canyon. Your guide will lead you down this beautiful canyon and you will experience it's wonderful geologic formations. Next, your trip will traverse up the famous Mogollon Rim to the top of the world ranger tower. You will be treated to a breathtaking 100 mile 360 degree view from the top of this tower. Your guide will point out many of the landmarks that surround you. Do you want to cool off in the Hot summer? This is the trip for you. During the summer months it is much cooler at the Top of the Rim because the elevation is 7,400 feet! This trip can only be taken during the warmer months of the year, as the road is closed due to snow and mud during the wintertime. This is where the last of the large Ponderosa Pine still inhabit (Some 300 + years). Next, you will depart the vehicle and hike up Haigler Creek Canyon enjoying the wonderful Aquarian area.
