FORT MC DOWELL ADVENTURES
Explore the natural untouched beauty of the Sonoran Desert as you ride out along the Verde River on the Fort McDowell Indian Reservation. Cowboy guides will explain the flora and fauna and fill you in on the history and folklore of the region. Views span the surrounding mountain chains including Four Peaks, the Mazatzals, Superstitions and McDowell Mountains. The two-hour ride includes water crossing across the Verde River. See all types of birds and butterflies (seasonal), that are attracted to this natural habitat. Half day, full day and overnight rides also available. For overnights, depart the ranch around noon then camp out under the stars, as the pioneers of old would have done. Overnight ride includes dinner and breakfast the next day before returning to the ranch.

CAVE CREEK 

Step back in time as you explore the beautiful desert setting and mining history of the Cave Creek Recreation area. Trained cowboy guides will take you along the trails that evoke images of pioneers, ranching life and mining operations from 150 years earlier. You'll learn about the desert flora and fauna, and folklore of the area while enjoying scenic views in the high Sonoran Desert and vistas of the distant Phoenix Skyline. Minimum age is 6 years or older. For children under 6, free pony rides are available. Maximum weight for riders is 230 lbs.

Saguaro Ride: Enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, riding through the towering Saguaro, Prickly Pear and many other cactus. View the Mesquite, Palo Verde, Ocotillo. Learn the food and medicinal uses of the desert plants with plenty of photo opportunities.

Cave Creek Ride: These rides are moderate and accommodates beginners. Enjoy the lush growth of the riparian area of Cave Creek, a beautiful ride into the Tonto National Forest. Opportunities to cross the waters of Cave Creek several times.

3 hour ride - $87 per person + tax, minimum age 10 years old

SCOTTSDALE RANCH 

Blaze your own trail through the beautiful Sonoran Desert via horseback. Ride through the land of endless Saguaro cacti and desert plants. You may even catch a glimpse of desert wildlife. Of course, the fine stock kept at the ranch will delight you and by the end of your ride, you will have bonded with your mount for an unforgettable experience.

For individuals, choose either a one, one and one-half, or two-hour guided trail ride. For groups of 10 or more, you can go via horseback, hayride or even consider an early morning breakfast ride or sunset cowboy cookout ride. All rides are led by professional wranglers/guides, who will acquaint you with what you see on the trail and tell you stories of the desert.

The ranch also has facilities for cook it yourself or catered cookouts, and can host western weddings, corporate events and international tour groups.

Trail Ride Price List:
One-Hour Guided Trail Ride - $30 per person
One and one-half hour Guided Trail Ride - $40 per person
Two-Hour Guided Trail Ride - $50 per person

SEDONA TRAIL RIDE ADVENTURES


Select from a variety of locations to take an exciting trail ride into scenic territories led by the largest and one of the most professional outfitters in Arizona. Team building events, group cookouts and group overnight rides are available in some locations, so please call for details and rates. All locations offer breakfast; lunch and dinner rides; rates and length of ride will vary based on site. Prices do not include tax.

Sedona
Hit the trail on authentic cattle ranch just south of Sedona for a one or two hour trail ride. Saddle up with real wranglers as your guides and head out to the beautiful surrounding area taking desert and mountain views. 

1-hour Ride - $64 per person
2-hour Ride - $85 per person

JEEP TOUR / TRAIL RIDE COMBO TOURS:
The Complete Western Experience combines three tours in one!  Enjoy 1.5 hours of fun four-wheeling on and over the red rocks then saddle up for a scenic 1-hour horseback ride through red rock country. After your exciting afternoon on the trail head back to the ranch for a classic cowboy cookout.
Length of trip: 4.5-5 hours. Complimentary photo included.
Cost: $135 Adult & $120 Children 12 & under (children must be at least age 7 to ride)

Arizona Horseback Adventure Combo is an exciting 1.5 hour jeep tour and 2 hour horseback ride. Start with an off-road adventure to Crack-Axel Canyon. Then saddle up for a trail ride through the western red rock formations and canyons, including a water crossing on Oak Creek. Length of trip: 4.5 - 5 hours. Complimentary photo included. 
Cost: $125 per person & $110 Children 12 & under
(maximum weight for trail rides is 250 pounds, minimum age 7)

TUCSON TRAIL RIDES
No visit to Arizona is complete without a western trail ride. Mount your stead - matched to your riding ability, and head out for a scenic ride in the Tucson Mountains and Saguaro National Park. Depending on the ride you choose you'll learn all about the flora and fauna, folklore, take in scenic views and even pass by ancient Indian petroglyphs.
Groups should inquire about the Wild West Adventures program with roping lessons and an authentic cowboy cookout. Rides available for all ages. Hay wagon and carriage rides also available.
